ABOUT ME.

John Craven is an award winning, impact-oriented television journalist with the experience to deliver meaningful content and the creativity to make it interesting and fun - on deadline.

Currently the chief political host and correspondent at News 12 Networks in New York, the nation's largest local cable news channel, John has more than 20 years experience as a reporter, anchor, and investigative producer in markets across the country. John hosts and produces the weekly "Power & Politics" program. He has also covered some of the biggest news stories of the past decade, including the Penn State sex abuse scandal, the Shuttle Columbia explosion, and Cindy Sheehan's month-long protest outside President George W. Bush's "Western White House." His breaking news coverage led to a national Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. John's work has also been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the Associated Press.

For John, though, every story counts - not just the big ones. Each day is a new chance to meet new people and tell their stories in a unique way. Please take a moment to view John's resume and work.
